Reliable and cheap, but the app is a bit cluttered
4 out of 5 starsAnita HallowayI've used PIA for years because they are consistently one of the cheapest reliable options. The speeds are good enough for 4K streaming and large downloads. The only downside is that the desktop app has a lot of toggle switches and graphs that might overwhelm a casual user. If you just want a "connect" button, it might be a bit much, but the performance is great.
The most customizable VPN for power users
5 out of 5 starsKevin_Wu_SysAdminIf you're a tech nerd like me, you'll love PIA. It allows you to tweak almost everything—from the encryption level (AES-128 vs 256) to the MTU size and proxy settings. Their "MACE" feature is a solid ad-blocker, and their massive server network means I never deal with overcrowded nodes. They've also proven their no-logs policy in court multiple times, which is the ultimate proof of privacy.
