  • Swedish hardware security at its finest

    5 out of 5 stars
    Stefan Kjellberg

OVPN is unique because they actually own their hardware—they don't rent virtual servers in some random data center. They even have an insurance policy to cover legal fees if they are ever asked to provide logs (which they don't keep). The connection is extremely stable, and the desktop app is surprisingly lightweight. It's a boutique provider that prioritizes quality over having 10,000 slow servers.

  • Secure and reliable, but limited locations

    4 out of 5 stars
    Ivan_D_Nordic

The privacy protections are top-notch, and I love the "Public IPv4" add-on for my home server. It's a very specialized, high-trust VPN. I'm only dropping one star because their server network is quite small compared to the giants. If you need to connect to a specific country in South America or Africa, you're out of luck. But for Europe and North America, it's perfect.
